| A woodland- and mountainrange- fairy-tale terrain totalling 45,000 km² is at our hunting guests pleasure. We tailor the hunting-party to fit the individual customer. Prices at request. Fishing in Lake Kroedern, catch brown trout, pike perch and pike. In august you can trap for crawfish, by agreement. Hunt for: Reindeer The hunting season is 20th of August — 30th September. And takes place at Mt. Nore (Norefjell) We can offer guiding service. Stag Takes place in woodland-terrain between: 10th of September to the 15th of November. Visiting guest-hunters can join estabelished hunting teams. We can offer guiding aswell. Elk/Moose Takes place in forrest-terrain from: 25th September — 31th October. Traditional Elk-hunting where visiting guest-hunters joins existing teams of hunters who knows the region. Roe-deer In the woods. The period stretches from: 10th of August to 23th of December, with a recess during the elk-hunting period. Guiding service is available. For all types of big-game hunting the trofé is includet in the hunting packages. You may also hunt for: High-mountain grouse, from 13th September until the 28th of February. You hunt without dogs. Villa Fridheim A Fairytale-museum at Lake Kroedern, a 15 minutes drive from Ringnes Manor. Open from: May to October. Krøderbanen (The Kroeder Railway) A museum on rails. Seated in coaches from the old days, pulled along by a steam locomotive, you can watch authentic station buildings, roundhouses and other rail-road’ian equipment from a time long since gone. The veteran train runs on Sundays in July and August, and the museum is open Saturdays & Sundays. It’s possible to charter the veteran train, season: May to October. Hagan, the home of Christian Skredsvig. From 1894 the painter, Christian Skredsvigs home, lies in Eggedal (Valley Egge) a 45 minutes drive from Ringnes Manor.
